Interaction Design Intern
Developed camera phone concepts 3 to 5 years in the future. Created use cases, storyboards, and wireframes. Analyzed current camera phone interaction flows and diagrammed suggestions for improvement.

Created personas, wireframes, and mockups of product ideas for presentations to potential corporate partners. Conceived an infographic of Foursquare data in New York City praised by Foursquare employees. Performed quality assurance testing on a forthcoming product. Contributed social media content. Conducted restaurant market research.

Introduction to Web Design and Programming (INFO 1300)
Headed TA grading. Ensured consistency in grading among 22 graders and 115 students. Taught a section of 15 students weekly in user-centered design, HTML and CSS. Held weekly office hours. Developed lesson plans. Received a mean score of 4.43 on 5 on student evaluations for demonstrating command of the subject matter.

Conducted contextual inquiries with Upstate New York farm families' to assess their use of coordination technology. Researched anthropological implications of busyness with a group of 5 students. Designed a web-based calendar to help students "slow down."

Cornell User Experience Design, Co-founder: Participate in user experience design exercises. Managed website and social media presence.
Cornell Daily Sun, Tech Blogger: Selected to write a bi-weekly column about technology and society for Cornell's student newspaper.
Information Science Student Association, Social Chair: Organize events to create cohesion within the Cornell Information Science community.
Canadians at Cornell Club, Founder and President: Organize activities for about 100 Canadian students. Foster Canadian culture on campus.
Student Library Advisory Council, Member: Selected member by Dean of College of Arts and Sciences. Provide recommendations and student feedback on library initiatives.
Arts and Sciences Peer Advisor Program, Peer Advisor: Selected to advise 12 Cornell freshmen in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Alpha Chi Omega, Vice-President Philanthropy and Webmaster: Spearheaded the organization of a large-scale philanthropy benefit with about 200 attendees and raised nearly double the funds amassed the prior year. Organized sorority community service activities in the Ithaca area. Relayed plans and delegate responsibilities to members. Completely redesigned the chapter's website.
